Here is the schedule for tomorrow’s field trip. Remember, it’s the last day of school. If you have an elementary student, you will need to pick up your student tomorrow as previously posted. Amanda will still run a route for the HS students. Thank you for helping make summer school a huge success and a blast!
9:30 - leave school
11:00-1:00 - explore Discovery Center
1:30-2:00 - eat lunch at a nearby park
3-3:30 - arrive at GC. Parents pick up students
This coming week will be the last week of summer school! The students have shown a lot of growth and have had a lot of fun over the past few weeks. Thank you to the school board for approving this plan and thank you teachers for dedicating your extra time to our students. They are so worth it!

It's been a great first week of Summer School! The kiddos have had fun, had many opportunities for learning and enrichment, and are continuing to get better every day!

Good morning Eagles families!
There will be quite a few messages/posts going out today. Let's start with the 7-12 Q4 reward trip. Permission slips were sent home with everyone that is eligible for the trip. This trip will be to Fritz's Adventure in Branson. We need the liability waiver along with the permission slip returned no later than WEDNESDAY MAY 11th. We have to pay for tickets by then and we need an exact number. PLEASE RETURN THE SLIPS ASAP!
Here is the criteria used for this trip:
- Students must have been eligible for ALL 3 previous quarter rewards
- Students must be on track to meet the same requirements at the end of Q4
- All A's, B's, C's
- Good attendance
- No OSS and no more than 2 referrals for the year

If your bus riding student had to be picked up at an alternative site this morning , please plan to pick them up at the same spot this afternoon. We won’t know until the buses get out if situations have changed. I thank you for your flexibility and understanding.
Due to flooding of the roads and at school Golden City will be out of school today Thursday, May 5
Good morning Eagle families! We are dealing with some flooding and debris and road issues this morning. There are going be several places we cannot get the buses to. There is a chance that several students do not get picked up immediately this morning. We are working on a plan to get everyone picked up and get them to the school. We will communicate that as soon as we have it. Also, there is some flooding in the cafeteria so students will be served breakfast out in the hallway this morning.
