The field trip to Pitt State tomorrow 11/28 for Mrs. Mooney’s class has been postponed. Once a date is rescheduled, we will get that info to you.
Just a few reminders -
Tonight is the season opener for basketball. Girls will host Osceola at 6:00 with boys hosting Ballard to follow. Students - The theme for tonight is Redneck BBQ! (please adhere to the dress code) The student (all PK-12 students eligible) with the best themed outfit will receive pizza on Monday!
There will also be a Senior Cookout Fundraiser tonight. Pork chop sandwiches, one side, cookie, and water for a $10 donation to the senior class. Meals provided by Darrell Phipps Team! The only hot food available at the concession stand tonight will be hot dogs and popcorn.

Little Caesars Pizza Fundraiser will arrive on Friday, November 18. Pick up starts at 11:00 and would like to be done by 1:30. MUST be picked up between those times as we have no place to store them, and they need to be refrigerated. They can NOT be sent home on the bus. Please make sure they are completed before services start at 2:00. Any problems please contact Candy at 214-4687.
Services for Dalton Horton will be held at Golden City Schools in the gym beginning at 2 o’clock on Friday November 18th.
We will release school at 12:30. Students will be required to leave the building. Pick up procedures will remain the same as normal. Please contact the school with any questions you may have.
The basketball home opener is on Tuesday, November 22nd. The boys will play Ballard and the girls will play Osceola. That night, there will be a Senior Class Cookout provided by The Darrel Phipps Team!
The meal will be pork chop sandwiches, 2 sides (provided by Cooky's Cafe), cookie, and water. Cost of the meal will be a $10 donation to the senior class. Below, there is a link to an order form.
We ask, if possible, please pre-order your meals. November 15th is deadline to pre-order. You can still order the night of the game, This helps get a more accurate count and help us package meals and have them ready for you when you arrive. They will be in to-go boxes labeled with your name on them when you arrive. Money will be paid at the time of pick up.

Please see the attached revision to the school calendar for the 2022-2023 school year. The major change is the addition of snow days into the calendar which are noted with a sunshine logo. This means AMI days, which have been used in the past, will not be used this year as of now.
